Dr Kumar is an experienced and skilled surgeon specialising in oral and maxillofacial surgery. With expertise in various areas such as dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, oral pathology, and facial trauma, Dr Kumar offers a comprehensive range of services. He has a particular interest in paediatric maxillofacial surgery, corrective jaw surgery, and TMJ surgery.

Dr Kumar is highly qualified, holding degrees in both Medicine and Dentistry.

Throughout his academic journey, he has been recognised for his outstanding achievements. Notably, he was awarded the title of the most outstanding student by the University of Otago during his dental degree. Additionally, he received the prestigious F.G. Christensen medal for his exceptional performance in the part I exams of his surgical training.
